Pete went out of his way to keep me completely informed on the project progress from start to finish. I will always have Baker Roofing do my renovation projects.

Message: We signed off on repairs to our roof and they said it would be 5-7 days before we heard about scheduling. They called the next day to schedule repairs for the following day. Amazing! Boni and Ruby from the Residential Repair side did an excellent job and completed the repairs exceptionally quick! Joey stopped by while they were working to make sure all safety protocols were being used, and of course Boni and Rudy were on top of it! Joey answered all the questions I had, and walked me through what Boni and Rudy were doing to repairs the damage and make sure the roof was leak proof going forward. I'd highly recommend Baker Roofing and Boni and Rudy for your repairs based on my experience, 5/5 stars!

Message: Excellent experience with Baker Roofing right from the start of the quoting process through the installation process.. I started the process of estimating and planning the replacement of our asphalt roof on our family beach home on Oak Island, NC with an aluminum roof with Chris. Chris was a tremendous help in educating and guiding us through this process. Our work was completed this week. Jason, the project manager and his team did an awesome job during the week with their efficiency (long days) work and Jason was in constant communication with me on the progress and answered all my questions as the job progressed. They were professional, kept the job site clean and friendly and completed the job on time! I would highly recommend Baker Roofing in the future.

Message: We saw Baker Roofing putting on a metal roof a few houses down from us. They have been prompt every day on the job, working hard all day long and picking up after themselves as they go. All the guys are very hardworking and very professional. We stopped over and asked if they could help us with a 5 minute fix on our house that we just didn't have a drill bit for. Jason Dockery came over when he had a quick moment and helped us with something we could not do ourselves as a neighborly good deed. What an outstanding crew and company. We will absolutely be calling Jason when we are ready for some big projects on our house.

Message: Shortly after I moved into my new house, I discovered that the some of the cedar shingles, original to the house built in 1995 (?), were falling off and there was serious rot underneath. I soon found other rotten places -- termite and water damage. I got four estimates to re-side the house. Rob Holt from Baker seemed the most trustworthy and intelligent of the reps who came to bid. I asked how long Rob had been with the company and was impressed when he said '12 years. ' He was very responsive to all my questions, even when I started hassling him for no good reason. I was apprehensive because repairs were going to cost extra, and they wouldn't know how many repairs would be needed until they got under there. I thought, 'Well, no wonder their estimate was so reasonable -- they were going to mark it up with hugely expensive "time and materials" change orders! ' So, I started out being the world's worst new client, suspicious, demanding, and insulting. (I'd had some very bad experiences with other contractors. ) Robert Allen, the construction manager, and Steve Lynn, the department head, had to put up with my constant texts and calls at all hours, to which they responded graciously with, "Yes, Ma'am. " About halfway into the second week I realized that my fears were unfounded and that the two young women on the crew (like a sexist male, I questioned their skill level) were just as competent as the guys. Santos, the crew leader, worked heroically, and I started calling him Hercules. The crew did a beautiful job, quickly and efficiently -- in less than two weeks! After the siding was finished, Robert and Santos installed a new awning I bought from Lowe's. It was one of those fiendishly complicated Chinese contraptions, and I suspect that any other company would have said "Not our job. ". The final bill was perfectly reasonable, given the extra work I'd asked for, which included re-siding the whole chimney. I can't wait for my roof to need re-roofing, so I can get the Baker Gang back again. The company is very well run and they warranty their work. They don't ask for payment until the client is completely satisfied. Wow! I encourage any new client to call me on the phone.

Message: Nothing but good things to say about Baker Roofing. The project for which I hired Baker was not your typical roofing and siding project. This will be a bit long but the back story is part of what made this a great experience.. I have an older home built in the 70s that had a stucco exterior. About 1 year ago I started contacting roofers about replacement as the roof was over 20y old. I spoke with at least six companies. One thing they all noted was difficulties I would face with properly installing a new roof with a full warranty due to the way the stucco had been literally brought down to cover a good portion of the shingles in several places on the roof. The companies fell into two categories 1) never called me back or 2) told me I need to somehow address the stucco at the same time. Baker was one of only 2 companies willing to work on this project, at all.. After my wife and I spent weeks/months deliberating over what to do we decided it was time to get rid of the (cracking, uneven, and overall not nice looking) stucco and do a full roofing and siding project. David Frawley was the sales rep I worked with at Baker. My interactions with him were one of the biggest reasons I chose Baker for the project. This was not a short sales process. It started in December 2021 and we didn’t sign with Baker until May 2022. David was at my home at least 5 times while trying to figure out a solution for my project and to answer my questions. He was not pushy and allowed me to take the approach of calling him when I was ready to move forward. Was really a great experience.. The project started in October because of its scale and amount of materials required. At the start we had a project manager named Josh who was on top of things from day one. This project required tearing stucco from the house, installing OSB (which the house lacked under the stucco) and then installing James Hardie siding, and of course a roof. Josh was easy to contact and had a genuine interest in making sure our extremely non-standard project was done correctly. About half way through the project Josh left the company and Robert Allen took over. With the project re-assigned to Robert he had to deal with the toughest part which was seeing it through to completion. The transition was as seamless as I could have hoped. I never felt like the project was dangling during the transition and Robert jumped in as though the project had been his all along.. The stucco demo and siding installation was done by professionals named Ivan and Oscar. I couldn’t be happier with the work they did. Typically when I have work done on my home I walk around and find things I’m unhappy with. This is not the case with the work they did. I will also say that I received compliments from a neighbor on how well Ivan and Oscar worked together and that they were very methodical but efficient. Another non-standard thing that had to be dealt with was the fact that the stucco had adhered to the brick and cinder block foundation. Removal caused the surface of the blocks to look uneven, especially near the entrance of the house. I asked about this and another Baker employee Wayne Stanfield who had also been on site several times offered to come by and smooth things out with some mortar mix. Not at all expected as part of the project but much appreciated as it looks great. The roof was installed by Hernan. This involved removing all of the roof decking and full shingle replacement. This also looks great. As the roof was going on I could see that they were paying particular attention to potential trouble spots that all houses have.. Things wrapped up about a month ago and everything looks amazing! Would work with Baker again without question.

Message: When I initially spoke to Andy Tart, he seemed genuine. I could tell that he was very confident in the quality of work that Baker Roofing company provides. We had some water damage beneath where the original door had been installed because it wasn't sealed properly so we were really concerned about quality.. When the work started, Robert Allen and Marcos Jimenez took their time installing the new door and replacing the damaged crawlspace beneath the door. Along with that, Marcos went the extra mile and painted the trim to ensure our new door was aesthetically pleasing as well.. I highly recommend Baker Roofing Company. They are easy to work with and very thorough.
